BUT one of this biggest things that a lot of people overlook as we keep pushing these trucks is safety. We have seen and heard a lot of horror stories about the Cardan joint failing and the damage it can cause. When that joint fails it can break transmissions cases, wrap up wiring, puncture fuel lines and cause fires.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\u003cp style=\"margin-bottom: 0px; padding: 0px;\"\u003eWe ended up designing this Driveshaft loop to help minimalize damage caused by this failure. The loop mounts in the 2 transmission crossmember bolt holes with the provided bolts for a simple install.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 8.0pt; line-height: 106%;\"\u003eDisclaimer:\rThe “Q” Loop is designed to minimize damage from a Cardon Joint Failure,\rIt IS NOT guaranteed to prevent any damage, as we often see the T-case broken\rwhen the center pin in the Cardon breaks and the two u-joints go into a bind,\rit has no choice but to break the T-case. The “Q” Loop’s intended purpose\ris to keep a broken drive shaft from spinning against the transmission case,\rand also the fuel lines, brake lines and wiring harness that run beside it on\rthe frame as there have often been reports of fires from the fuel lines being\rpunctured.
