Powerhouse Diesel 11-19 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Short Block
Description
We're Not a Reseller
Plenty of shops will drop-ship you an engine somebody else built. We aren't one of them. We own the machines, and we've spent years getting these builds where we want them — refining the specs, testing them in our own shop, and proving them in real trucks before we'd put our name on one. Whether it's a daily driver that has to start every morning or a race engine that has to survive the pass, it goes through the same process and gets held to the same standard.
Machined In-House on Sunnen Equipment
Every operation happens under our roof. No outsourced machine shop, no third-party assembler, no waiting in someone else's queue.
- Magnaflux crack inspection — every block, before we make a single cut
- Pressure tested to verify casting integrity
- Line honed and line bored as required to true the main bore to the crank centerline
- Deck surface milled 100% flat
- Torque plate honed — cylinders are honed under simulated head-bolt load, so the bore stays round once the heads are torqued down. This is the step most builders skip.
- Blueprinted and balanced rotating assembly
- All oil clearances set to better than factory spec — not to factory spec, better than it
Complete Gasket Package — Included
Every gasket needed to install this engine comes with it. Most builders sell you a short block and leave you chasing gasket sets separately. We include the full engine gasket package in the price.
What's Included
- HX series rod and main bearings
- Stage 1 billet camshaft
- OEM lifters
- Complete engine gasket set
Also Available — Long Blocks, Ready-to-Run Engines and Performance Builds
This listing is for the short block. Because the machining is ours, we also build:
- Long blocks — heads installed, ready for your accessories
- Ready-to-run engines — complete and dressed, drop it in and go
- Performance builds — spec'd to your power target, from a stout street and tow build up to full competition
Call or message us with your application and horsepower goal and we'll quote the build.
Fitment
2011-2019 Ford 6.7L Power Stroke.
Core Charge
This engine carries a $2,500 core charge. If the rods or crank are not good, you will be credited for whatever is good.
A core is automatically considered bad if:
- There are holes in the block, or the engine will not rotate over
- Any holes have to be sleeved
