Description

The RCD Performance CPX Injection Pump is a patent-pending replacement for the factory CP4 high-pressure fuel pump on 2011-2025 Ford 6.7L Power Stroke diesel trucks. The factory Bosch CP4 - OEM part numbers BC3Z9A543A (2011-2019) and LC3Z9B395AA (2020-2025) - has a known failure mode: the roller lifter rotates during a vacuum event, spreading debris through the fuel system and into the injectors. The CPX addresses this with pinned lifter buckets that prevent rotation.
All 2011-2025 CPX pumps are also internally modified on a 5-axis CNC to return fuel to the tank in the event of a failure, preventing debris from reaching the injectors.

Fitment: 2011-2025 Ford 6.7L Power Stroke diesel trucks.

Three output levels: Stock, 25% over, and 40% over - select 2011-2019 or 2020+ at checkout.

2011- 2023 6.7L Ford Power Stroke CPX Injection Pump

The 15-19 pump interchanges with earlier 2011-2014 MY vehicles and displaces 15% more than the stock pump. Great for your hot tuned 11-14 truck to ensure proper rail pressure.

PATENT PENDING

The CP4 pump Bosch should have built, the CPX.
• Pinned lifter buckets to prevent rotation and stop failures. Even during a gel.
• New feed port, preventing any contaminated crankcase debris from entering the plungers and barrels. (Built in disaster prevention kit)
• Direct drop-in replacement, no aftermarket fuel lines or components needed.
• No additional labor or modifications to install.
• 24 Month no questions asked replacement warranty.
• HO trucks need a minimum of a 25% pump

11-23 applications with the updated 15-19 pump output. (7.5mm)
25% over for hot tuned trucks (9.5mm)
And the infamous 10.5mm 40% over pump.

This CPX keeps the OEM, four pumps per engine revolution that the Chinese eccentric pumps do not. The OEM Bosch system is timed, and designed to pump to the bank that is requesting fuel (firing). This is to ensure peak nozzle pressure and less harmonics of high pressure fuel, having to cross over via the balance tube, from one rail to the other. Eccentric pumps will skip every other firing event. Two pumps per revolution vs the OEM four..
And just to point out, the whole “US diesel fuel doesn’t have enough lubricity for the CP4.” That’s a lie. I have disassembled, measured and under microscope, inspected pumps with over 500k miles with essentially zero wear.

The flaw was nothing to stop the roller lifter from rotating in a vacuum event. (Gel, filter change, low pressure feed issue.) This is why the LML Duramax pumps drop like flies. There is no lift pump to keep positive pressure on the plungers and barrels.
This allows a slop, or gap between the cam and the lifter roller. Which allows it to turn. Similar to a roller cam in a engine. When there is no lifter guide or link bar. The lifter rotates, destroying the cam and lifters and filling the engine with hardened metal filings. These filings, are what fills your fuel rails and injectors with debris, ruining them.

All 2011 - 2025 RCD CPX CP4 pumps are modified internally in a 5 AXIS CNC to return fuel to the tank. This prevents debris from entering the injector in the instance of a failure. "DISASTER KITS" ARE NOT NEEDED!

RCD CPX Injection Pump vs. Factory CP4 - 6.7L Powerstroke Fuel System Protection

  • Patent-pending design with pinned lifter buckets - prevents the roller rotation failures that spread debris into the fuel system
  • Direct drop-in replacement - no aftermarket fuel lines or components needed, no additional labor or modifications to install
  • Internally modified on a 5-axis CNC - manufactured in the USA by RCD Performance
  • Available in Stock, 25% over, and 40% over output levels - backed by a 24-month no-questions-asked replacement warranty
  • Complete your 6.7L build: our SPE billet 6.7L Powerstroke oil filter housing increases oil flow by 30% over the factory FL2051S and is a natural complement to the CPX pump upgrade.
