Replacement and performance injectors for the 2003 to 2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke from Warren Diesel and Industrial Injection. Buy a single injector to replace one bad cylinder or a full set of 8, from stock flow all the way up to 7mm and 8mm hybrids.
Which 6.0 Injector Size Do You Need?
- Stock: factory flow replacements for work trucks and daily drivers.
- 155cc to 175cc: the best match for a tuned truck on a stock turbo. More towing power without a big jump in smoke or EGT.
- 190cc to 205cc: real power gains, but they need a tune written for them and a healthy oil and fuel system. An upgraded turbo keeps smoke and EGT in check.
- 225cc and up, 7mm and 8mm hybrids: built trucks only. Plan on HPOP upgrades, an upgraded turbo, head studs and custom tuning.
Never mix flow sizes in one engine. If you are replacing a single injector, match the size already in the truck.
Signs Your 6.0 Injectors Are Failing
Rough idle, a miss that gets worse cold, excessive smoke, fuel in the oil and hard starts all point to injectors. Stiction from worn oil can mimic a bad injector, so rule that out first. Read our guide to the signs of failing diesel injectors, and pair new injectors with the right 6.0 Powerstroke tuning and fuel system parts.
6.0 Powerstroke Injector FAQ
Do I need to replace all 8 injectors?
Not always. On a healthy set, one failed injector can be replaced with a matching single. If the truck has high miles or several injectors are going bad, a full set is the better long term fix.
Do bigger 6.0 injectors need a tune?
Yes. Anything above stock flow needs a tune written for that injector size to control fueling, timing and smoke.
