Interference in the throttle position sensor circuits (APPS) on Dodge Cummins engines from 1994 to 2005 will create false voltage readings in the APPS Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor circuit and cause the lock-up torque converter to rapidly cycle on and off as you drive. I’ve had the APPS noise isolator on my 2001 Dodge 3500 for about a month now. No more RPM fluctuations in the 40 - 50 mph range. Simple to install and after 12 years of trying to solve this issue, I’m very happy with the product.
