RCD Performance CPX Injection Pump for the 2011 to 2027 Ford 6.7L Power Stroke

The CPX is RCD Performance's answer to the factory Bosch CP4.2. It starts as a CP4.2 and fixes the exact thing that destroys it, so it drops into your truck with no new lines, no extra parts and no extra labor. Patent No. US 12,698,751 B1.

Why the factory CP4 fails

Inside the CP4, roller lifters ride on a cam. Nothing stops those lifters from rotating when the pump sees a vacuum event, like fuel gelling, a filter change or a weak lift pump. Once a lifter turns, the roller skids across the cam, the pump starts making hardened metal, and that metal goes straight into your rails and injectors. That's how a $1,600 pump turns into a $10,000+ repair.

What the CPX changes

  • Pinned lifter buckets so the lifters can't rotate, even during a gel or a starved filter change.
  • New feed port that keeps crankcase debris out of the plungers and barrels.
  • Built in disaster protection. Every CPX is machined internally on a 5 axis CNC to send return fuel back to the tank, so if a failure ever happens, debris doesn't reach the injectors. You don't need a separate disaster prevention kit.
  • Factory pumping strategy. The CPX keeps the OEM four pumping events per engine revolution, timed to the bank that's firing, for full nozzle pressure and less rail harmonics.

Which CPX do you need?

  • Stock output (7.5mm): the 2015 to 2019 pump displacement. It fits 2011 to 2014 trucks too and moves about 15% more fuel than the early pump, which helps a tuned 11 to 14 hold rail pressure. No tune needed.
  • 25% over (9.5mm): for tuned trucks that need more fuel. Your tune has to call for the extra fuel to use it.
  • 40% over (10.5mm): for built trucks running bigger injectors and a custom tune.
